Meet Hannah

I began my career as a nurse, at the age of 20. After 10 years of high stress work environments, I realized that I needed a change. I sought out a career that still involved helping others in their recovery, just in a more personalized, and less stressful atmosphere. I attended the Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute, for a 1000hr program in 2019. I have since been trained in other modalities, such as Deep Feet Bar Therapy, yoga, and I intend to continue advancing my practice.

My specialities include:

-Myofascial Release: therapy that uses gentle, sustained pressure and stretching to release tightness and restrictions in the myofascial system. Generally alleviates chronic pain after 3-5 sessions, with most reporting significant relief after just 1!

-Deep tissue and sports massage techniques, to target more acute issues, as well as recovery after high impact activity.

-Manual Lymphatic Drainage: drastically effects the preparation for and recovery from surgery. It involves light-pressure massage techniques designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, reducing swelling, promoting fluid circulation, and aiding detoxification.

More fun facts about me:

I served 7 years in the Louisiana National Guard, as a transportation specialist (88M), and completed one deployment to Afghanistan 2011-2012. I offer my deepest gratitude (and 20% off) to all veterans.

In 2019 I followed my passion for hiking, and completed the Pacific Crest Trail, where I met my wonderful husband. Since that time, I have completed the Colorado Trail, the Camino De Santiago, and the Lowest to Highest Route, with more to come.

My goal is to keep myself and my clients, outside, doing what we love, for as long as possible!
